Peer Engagement Facilitator

Hello, my name is Hollie, and I am a Peer Engagement Facilitator within the Adult Eating Disorders Provider Collaborative. I have a BA honours Textiles Design Degree and graduated in 2008 at Manchester Metropolitan University.

I have worked as a freelance artist and artist in residence across Staffordshire and Cheshire. I was an Occupational Therapy Assistant prior to my current position at MPFT. I have experience of living with an eating disorder and wanted to provide hope and support to others who are recovering from an eating disorder.

As a Peer Engagement Facilitator my role involves offering various ways for people with Lived Experience of Eating Disorders to feedback on the care and support that they receive within the service.

Whether it's through group discussions, one-on-one conversations, online surveys, or even more creative approaches. My role also entails supporting individuals with Lived Experience to engage in co-production activities to influence service delivery and quality improvement projects throughout the West Midlands.
