Lived Experience Network Session at Gatehouse Theatre
We recently had the pleasure of hosting an in-person Lived Experience Network session at the Gatehouse Theatre in Stafford. The session was filled with insightful conversations and meaningful connections.
Co-Designing the Event
We collaborated closely with one of MPFT dedicated eating disorder Peer Support Workers to ensure the event was both enjoyable and accessible for everyone. Together, we paid special attention to:
- Location: The Gatehouse Theatre was chosen for its welcoming atmosphere and convenient access for participants.
- Accessibility: We made sure the venue was easily accessible to accommodate all attendees. This included considering physical access and providing necessary support.
- Timing: The event was scheduled at a time that was convenient for participants, allowing for maximum attendance and involvement.
- Activities: A variety of engaging activities were on offer, encouraging interaction and sharing of experiences among those who joined us.
The session was a success, fostering a sense of community and support among participants. We are grateful to everyone who attended and contributed to the positive atmosphere. We look forward to more sessions like this in the future, where we can continue to learn and grow together.
